Great place. The meat counter has everything you could ask for and I even got a lesson on how to trim spare ribs. Beyond the great customer service and second to none meat counter the produce they carry is top notch if you hit it right. F$ck Walmart and Food City...this place has what you want and need. Staff even helps load the gear in your car...and for your dickheads out there...tip them for that

Hollingsworth always is a go to for meat. Yes, I am a local! But there has never been a time that I have been disappointed. And during the summer, there is always a line at the meat counter. For almost 15 years my family has been visiting Norris Lake, and part of that tradition has always included stopping by Hollingsworth for all of our grilling needs. This family run butcher's shop has the hometown charm that you're always looking for, and the staff behind the counter is always happy to cut something to your liking if you don't find anything in the coolers. As mentioned, it's been a part of our tradition for many years, so naturally we've went through a ton of their meats on the Big Green Egg, but stopping by for a 11-14lbs brisket has always been one of my go to items. Stop by, say hello and pick up something for your BBQ - you certainly won't regret it.

Small store with big values on fresh meat. Hollingsworth is a bit pricey on their other goods and have limited fresh veggies to choose from...that's the most negative thing I could write because these guys are awesome. Their meats are always fresh. They are REAL BUTCHERS. They will trim the meat, cut the meat, do whatever to your satisfaction. The employees are outstanding. They should teach other stores about customer service. They are so helpful.
